Hosea’s Heart is an operational ministry in Swaziland that gives a home to girls who were sexually exploited or who are at-risk for exploitation.
The Mission of Hosea’s Heart:
To empower the girls of Swaziland to achieve freedom from sexual abuse and hope for a better future by serving their physical, emotional and spiritual needs through a holistic, restorative process. Hosea’s Heart seeks to pour into the girls’ lives in order to rebuild, renew, and restore their own families, communities, and cities.
The Vision of Hosea’s Heart:
To restore hope and healing for sexually abused or at-risk young women, serving as an active and vocal community that embodies social justices.
Mary-Kate Martin, the founder of Hosea’s Heart shares that “These girls are difficult to help; everyone knows it, and that’s why nothing has been done for them. People constantly told me, ‘You can’t help them. It’s too difficult. It’s not worth it.’ Not worth it? Yes, that is the attitude towards these women — the attitude that has tainted their view of love and trust. Because of this, these girls will not ask for help, they will not come to you, to anyone for help. They have learned to live on their own, selling their bodies to stay alive. Therefore, you must to go them.”

Here’s where you come in!
Due to the lack of resources, Hosea’s Heart has had to operate by renting a house to fit 16 girls and one house mother under one roof. There is an expansion and relocation project underway. On the new campus there will be five family units, each housing only 8 girls and one house mother. The New Roots campus will be home for up to 56 girls/young women in need and will include staff/volunteer housing, a school building, a workshop and workshop housing, and other income-generating projects.
This won’t happen without support though! We are in constant need of encouragement, prayers, and funds. If you can help us in anyway, it could mean the difference of a life for a woman in need. We are so grateful for the love and prayers. If you do choose to provide funds for these women, please know that it is going directly to build a new home for these girls.
