Hope House in Midland PA

My name is Owen Grubbs and I am a Life Scout in Troop 416 in Beaver County, PA. For my Eagle Scout project, I am designing and implementing a backyard renovation at the Hope House, a Christ-centered shelter for women and children located in Midland, PA.

I will install a multi-purpose backyard space including a playset, picnic table, and garden beds at the Hope House. This will provide an outdoor area with activities that women and children at the house will be able to enjoy. Donations will be used to acquire a picnic table, materials for preparing a safe area for the playset (retaining walls and gravel mulch), materials for garden beds, glider swings for the playset, and miscellaneous supplies. The playset itself has been donated to the Hope House.
