Hope For Kenya

My name is Guy and I have been invited to join Hope For Kenya on a mission’s trip this coming February to help children living in extreme poverty. Hope for Kenya focuses on helping children escape poverty by providing clean water and education for children, from preschool through college. The school is located in the impoverished village of Dago, in western Kenya, not far from Lake Victoria.  Previously, kids  had to walk more than 5 kilometers to school, and parents kept girls and younger kids home because it was not safe.  Now, Hope for Kenya has built a small school in Dago, but currently there is no washroom for girls, impacting their hygiene, dignity and safety.  Hope for Kenya focuses on helping Kenyans escape poverty by providing clean water and education for children, from preschool through college.  You donations are 100% tax deductible, and 100% of your donation goes to the school, not to program fees or administration.

We plan to visit the school in October with the children and see the impact we are having, with your support, and promise to share photos and stories.  Thank you so much for your support at giving these children a chance!

Education is the first step out of poverty.

We are 3 families and we are going on a service trip to Kenya in July with the organization “Hope for Kenya” to build a new classroom at the Dago Primary School in Dago village.
 
The Dago School is dedicated to providing primary education to boys and girls. Three years ago the children in Dago had no school. Thanks to the support of people like you 5 classrooms have already been built.

We want to build on this success and help the school do more of their wonderful work.
 
Our objective is to raise $15,000. This will pay not only for the construction of the building, but will also cover furniture, learning supplies, teaching equipment, etc.
