It is the mission of Hope for Gabe (H4G) to ensure a cure for the terminal disease Duchenne is found in time for this and all future generations of patients inflicted with this horrible disease, including Gabe. Our goal is simple, to eradicate this disease! 

Ride4Gabe IV is raising money so the Hope for Gabe Foundation can continue fighting for Gabe and other kids with Duchenne.  Our cyclists need your encouragement, especially between July 28 and August 3 when they are pedaling over 200 miles a day for a week! 

About: The "Hope for Gabe Foundation" (H4G) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Birmingham, Alabama. H4G was formed in 2010 by the family of Gabe Griffin, a 14-year-old boy in Chelsea, AL, who was diagnosed with the rare genetic disease, Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).

Ride4Gabe (2014) – Cyclists Michael Staley and Wes Bates; 3,400 miles, 42 days; route through Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama

Ride4Gabe II (2016) – Cyclists Michael Staley, Wes Bastes, Payne Griffin; 2,200 miles, 11 days; route through Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida

Ride4Gabe III (2017) – Cyclist Brian Toone raced in Race Across America (RAAM); completed 3,000 mile race, finishing 3rd overall, in just 10 days, 2 hours, 53 minutes; route through California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland
