Save Strays Dogs in El Salvador from Deadly Screwworm
We urgently need support to save stray and vulnerable dogs in El Salvador from the deadly New World Screwworm. The infection starts when the fly lays eggs in wounds, soft tissue, such as the nose, mouth, or bites from fleas/ticks, or any minute lesion. The infestation causes severe pain, infection, foul wounds, maggots, loss of appetite, and death within 10 days of infection, if untreated.

We treat as many infected dogs as possible within the first five days to prevent death. Treatment includes Nexgard Spectra, maggot removal, wound cleaning, antibiotics, pain relief, ivermectin, and wound protection with Ciper-Clor spray. Your help saves lives.
