Hi, I’m Annie Lobert, a survivor of trafficking and the founder of Hookers for Jesus, aka PINK CHAIR. We are in SERIOUS NEED OF YOUR HELP! Why? We are on the verge of being SHUT DOWN for lack of funding.

We have been helping ladies be set free from trafficking for over 20 years. I started this non-profit when I escaped from my x-trafficker because I had NO options for help in 1998. What a better way to guide someone out of danger and destruction than from someone who's been there themselves?

Hookers for Jesus aka PINK CHAIR exists to help ladies escape sex trafficking, prostitution, and exploitation. Through our program—which is our actual SAFE HOUSE called the Destiny House, we provide a real safe space, compassion, and tangible help for survivors—offering counseling, education, life skills, and a clear pathway to hope, vision and a life of freedom. The ladies can stay at our large 14 bed property for up to 24 months FREE OF CHARGE while they heal from severe complex trauma and the horrible abuses of trafficking. What led to this? After being trafficked for 16 years off and on, I had a serious overdose, and as I was lying on the ground praying with all my broken heart to Jesus, and it's there I promised that I would go back and help my friends to escape their traffickers too. Because the truth is--God loves them. They deserve a life of freedom, hope and purpose. After my own years of healing, facing serious complex trauma and learning how to navigate my life back to freedom, I founded our program and trail blazed it, since there wasn't ANY program like it I could find. 21 years later, we are still going ONLY by a miracle of God.

However--we need your help and are in great danger of shutting down due to a lack of funds. So I am proposing to raise $50,000, to pay some VERY over due bills--but we really need $300,000 to help us stabilize until a few more grants come through. Right now we are being forced to turn away victims who desperately need our help escaping their traffickers! They need housing, trauma therapy, rest, and hope for their tortured souls..

Just in 2024, through our program, 67 women were assisted in transitional housing, 378 women received life-changing counseling. And we’ve provided more than 2,856 men and women with emergency crisis responses and escape planning from being pimped. This is more than just a charity—it’s a lifeline. Every woman we help is someone’s daughter, sister, or mother. They deserve more than survival; they deserve restoration, dignity, and a future filled with purpose. Your support will directly fund housing, food, trauma recovery counseling, education, and job training for survivors. Every dollar enables immeasurable change. Every donation helps us say to a woman still trapped: “You are worth rescuing. You are loved. You are not forgotten.”
