HomeSharing’s mission is to create affordable housing solutions by matching those seeking housing with those who need additional income or services to maintain their homes, while fostering independence and dignity.

Since May of 2024, HomeSharing has been expanded its services into Monmouth and Ocean Counties, thanks to passthrough federal funding. With the addition of a full-time MSW-level Social Worker, we've made a significant impact in just one year— 800% growth - helping seniors age in place, supporting those at risk of homelessness, stabilizing housing for precariously housed individuals, and connecting residents with vital social services.

Recently, we received devastating news: this crucial funding has been eliminated. Without alternative support by December 15th, we will be forced to close our field office and lay off our dedicated MSW Social Worker, putting our clients at risk once again.
