Help Homeless Kids Go to Summer CampThe parents in our program are working hard to get back on their feet. In many cases, they are working 2 or 3 jobs, yet they live paycheck to paycheck. Summer camp not only provides them with the child care they need so they can work, but also provides a life-changing experience for their children.
There are 18 children in our program in need of summer camp.
Summer camp for these kids would be more than just a good time. Many of the children in our program suffer from the trauma of homelessness and have even witnessed domestic violence. Because of this, they often have emotional challenges making it hard for them to focus and fit in. A summer camp experience can help.

Michael, Age 8
We have seen the success. Last year our children left summer camp with not just an extra pep in their step but newly found confidence that set them up for success in the school year and beyond. They learned how to work together, make choices, take responsibility, and even improve their athletic abilities.
A true gift.

Partial scholarships have been provided, which is wonderful, but there is still a huge financial gap to fill.
In order to make this possible for these children, we need to raise $22,452 to pay for their camp tuition. We invite you to help make a difference. Every dollar will make a difference in the lives of these homeless children and their families.
Summer is fast approaching and we hope you can help.

Our philosophy at Homeless Solutions Inc is,
“A Hand Up, not a Handout.” As a private, non-profit organization, we have been helping the homeless and working poor in our community since 1983.
We are unique in what we do. It’s not just about providing a warm meal and a place to sleep. Our goal is to provide people with the tools and surroundings they need to rebuild their lives and become self-sufficient. What sets our non-profit apart from others is our continuum of housing options through our Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing Program (THP), Mt. Kemble Home for Senior Women and Affordable Housing.
