This year, many parents out there have had to do for their kids what my mom did for me for nearly half of my time in grade school. 

Homeschooling.

My mom made this incredible sacrifice to give me an even more incredible opportunity. 

However, many other parents cannot afford to give their children this same opportunity.

HSLDA Compassion was formed to provide resources for homeschooling families in difficult times, not unlike what we see today.  Every donation goes to ensuring that a family's choice to teach there own children will not prevent them from having the things they need to get by.

Thank you all for your support!  This is a difficult time for all of us but the way you have come together for support is truly extraordinary!

Also, to all the parents out there who are trying to figure this out for the first time.  I know you are doing incredible, whether it feels like it now or not, your kids will always look back on these moments fondly and thank you for your sacrifice and for bringing your family closer than ever.
