HNA Jogathon 2021-2022
Each year Holy Names Academy holds a Jogathon to raise funds for the school’s athletic program. This is the 42nd anniversary of our annual school event, and we are inviting you to sponsor an HNA Cougar.
HNA's teams could not maintain their winning achievements without the financial support generated by the Jogathon Campaign. Jogathon provides many vital resources to our 14 sports teams: field and pool rentals, new uniforms and warm-ups, coaches’ education and first-aid/CPR certification, championship banners and plaques, and weight-room equipment.
The annual Cougar Jogathon is a highlight of the year for all HNA students. Our young women dress in their class colors as they jog around the Montlake track. This year, our celebration will take place on September 22, 2021.
80% of all HNA Students Compete in Athletics!
Jogathon supports all 14 HNA sports: basketball, bowling, crew, cross country, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swim/dive, tennis, track & field, ultimate frisbee and volleyball!
Jogathon provides many vital resources to our teams:
• New uniforms and warm-ups for the athletes.
• Yearly equipment costs and field rentals.
• Equipment for a physical-education health program that emphasizes lifetime fitness and health.
• New banner displays to accommodate the growing numbers of League, District and State Championships our teams have won.
• Transpiration costs.
• CPR and first-aid training and certification training for the coaches.
