Our Motherland, Saigon, Vietnam, is going through a surge of the COVID-19 pandemic that added to food insecurity, lack of medical support, and lack of vaccines available.

I am partnering with Hoi Bac Ai - Love The Poor to support frontline health workers, institutions responding to the Coronavirus pandemic and the poor families with basic necessities.

Current needs:

Hoi Bac Ai - Love The Poor’s response program funds both immediate needs and long-term recovery. Our funding priorities in Vietnam include:

• support for vulnerable groups, including meals, rice and livelihood support
• emergency medical supplies for frontline health workers
• funding the local subject matter experts

My goal is to fundraise $6,000. Thanks to a donor, we will have a matching available up to $6000.

With $6,000, we can provide for 400 families:

$15 per family = 435,000 VND (includes 10 kg rice, pack of 30 eggs, a box of noodles, and a variety of vegetables).
