Hkc K-9 Unit Foundation Inc

The HKC is a non profit foundation that runs solely off the support of those who love dogs and want to support our local police department. Your help (any help) supports the dogs well being with basic vet care, food, and gear for their job. We are raising money at this time to help K9 Zoe who is currently at the emergency vet waiting on radiology. We noticed a difference in her over the last 48 hours and rushed her to the emergency vet at 1 am on March 3rd. The X-ray showed a large mass behind her heart and this push for donations is to help to cover her costs at the vet.

For those who do not know K9 Zoe or her handler they are inseparable and work extremely well together. Zoe is an amazing partner and enjoys her job. She is a graduate of the Penn Vet Working Dog Center and is loved by everyone who gets to work with her. When she is in roll call she sits and listens but the demands your lunch and for you to play fetch with her. She lives an amazing life at home with her retired K9 brother Jack and little sister Kelly (just a house lab). She demands the queen bed and to be tucked in to go to sleep.
