Beyond the Pink Ribbon Project: Male Breast Cancer Awareness
My name is Roxane, and I’m a high school student passionate about raising awareness for male breast cancer through my community service project. About a year ago, my father was diagnosed with the disease. As he overcame it, I realized how little is known about this condition. Since then, I’ve been motivated to spread awareness and engage my community in meaningful ways. I’ve partnered with the nonprofit HIS Breast Cancer Awareness, and all the funds raised go directly to supporting their mission to change the narrative around male breast cancer.
