Michigan workers are ready to work, but access to hiring opportunities is at risk.
Hired In Michigan and JobFairGiant.com for more than 20 years has helped Michigan job seekers connect directly with employers through in-person and online job fairs, career guidance, and workforce resources across Detroit and the state.
Reason for fundraiser: This funding secures 12 months of workforce services supporting Michigan workers, families, veterans, and students.
Funding will support the following:
- 500,000+ job seekers seeking employment
- 20,000+ employers hiring Michigan talent
- Workers navigating layoffs, career transitions, and economic recovery
Without immediate support, Michigan workers could lose access to:
- Monthly job fairs that lead to real interviews
- Free job information delivered statewide
- Laptops and digital-skills support for job seekers locked out of online hiring systems due to low income.
This fundraiser is not about launching something new. It is about protecting what works for workers who have been actively trying to get hired in Michigan for over 20 years.
