The Hickory HS Robotics Foundation, Inc. (HRF) as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and public charity will strive to create an environment within the City of Chesapeake, Virginia and beyond where a culture of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) thrives. The HRF will organize and manage youth STEAM related robotics teams and programs established within Hickory High School and beyond. HRF's outreach activities will successfully encourage our supported students to pursue various levels of higher education and STEAM careers, inspire innovation, foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership; plus develop technical and social skills, professional connections, and career direction.
