Hero Adventures

Craig Metcalf has begun his 10,000 mile motorcycle journey from Daytona, FL to Homer, AK. On August 4th, the crew departed Daytona in the middle of the hurricane to Key West, and back up into Daytona to continue the ride through the Southern and Central US, then into Canada, and finishing in Homer, Alaska. Over 200 riders are participating, and they are not staying in hotels because one of the requirements is that they stay with their bikes at all times - no matter the weather or conditions. Their goal is to complete the ride within 14 days.

As a part of this challenge, he will be supporting a local group, Hero Adventures (www.heroadventures.org). Minus fees, 100% of the donations provided here are going directly to Hero Adventures, a local Christian-based organization that supports men and women of the military by providing various types of hunting expeditions. I personally know one of the founders, David Lee, and can attest to the integrity and commitment they have for supporting our military personnel.
