Urgent Dental Help Needed Before Life-Saving Heart Surgery
Help Him Get Critical Dental Work to Save His Life
We are reaching out on behalf of a kind and resilient man who urgently needs full dental extractions to be medically cleared for life-saving heart surgery at the Tidal Health.
Several dedicated organizations have come together to support him through this crisis—coordinating care and connecting him to specialists. However, despite everyone's best efforts, there is one major barrier left: the cost of emergency dental treatment is simply beyond his means.
Due to the severity of his heart condition, time is of the essence. His doctors have made it clear—he cannot receive heart surgery until all of his teeth are removed, as existing infections pose a dangerous risk during and after surgery.
We are hoping to raise enough funds to cover:
- Full dental extractions at the University of Maryland
- Associated pre- and post-operative care
- Emergency transportation, if needed
This man has endured incredible hardship, and yet he remains hopeful and kind. Your support can help him overcome this final obstacle to a healthier, longer life.
The University of Maryland School of Dentistry has provided an estimated cost of treatment:
- Initial consultation: $198
- Basic extractions (21 total): $108 each
- Total estimated cost: $2,466
