Hearthfire Farm needs your support!

Your support will help us build more housing to welcome 2 new staff members and a second barn. As we expand our garden, we also need a small tractor, a truck, and 2 chicken coops.

Hearthfire Farm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity located in the Texas Hill Country. We are dedicated to providing work and a home where people of all abilities find their place around the hearth.

Our vision is to provide an affordable, safe and comfortable place where adults with disabilities can live and work alongside typically-abled adults.

Since our founding in 2021, our community has grown to 7 regular participants with one full time staff member living at the farm. We have completed a wood-frame casita for our program manager and have almost finished our earth block cabin walls. We have 2 fully planted long raised beds and a third almost completed. Our young orchard has irrigation lines and is being prepared to receive 75 new tree seedlings.

We are tremendously grateful to the donors who have made this work possible. Cash donations have allowed us to purchase seeds, seedlings, a solar electric kit, and building materials. In-kind donations of building materials and soil have jump-started our efforts. We are also grateful to our cheerful and hard-working volunteers who have contributed to the building of the garden and foundation of the earth block cabin.
