Heart to Heart International

New Groove Music Studio is a music education company reinvigorating the music lesson experience for all ages and levels. Studio, in-home, and online music lessons are all offered at New Groove! The goal of the studio is to provide support, creativity, and connection to allow talented Teaching Artists, engaged students, and a music loving community to thrive. 

New Groove will be hosting a virtual concert featuring studio members Samyuktha Arunkumar, Keerthana Shriram, and Sowmya Srinivasan in order to raise money for Heart to Heart International! The goal of the concert is to bring the joy of music to everyone while also helping those in need during these unprecedented times.

Heart to Heart International strengthens communities through improving health access, providing humanitarian development, and crisis relief worldwide. They have recently committed to creating Stay Healthy Kits with standard hygiene products, gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer for Covid relief. 

If you are interested in attending the concert, it will be live streamed on Saturday, December 12 from 7:00-8:00pm on the New Groove Facebook page! Please help us reach our goal of $5,000 and we hope that you enjoy the concert!

Heart to Heart International has donated over 2 billon dollars in medical supplies to 131 countries. They have also been a huge help during the pandemic, giving out free covid tests and handing out packages with infection medicine and basic supplies like toothpaste and shampoo.

With my 24th birthday coming up, I wanted to do something both good for the world and fun. Recently, the thing on everyone's minds is COVID-19. The biggest impact it's had in my life and most of my friends and family is that we are all practicing social distancing and staying home (I hope!). However, for almost all of us, this has caused a lot of boredom. So I thought why not do something to combat both of these problems? For my birthday, we are going to fundraise for Heart to Heart International and raise money through various livestreams and fun activities!

The recommended donation is $24 since that's how I'm turning. Also, we only need 40 donations of $24 each to reach our goal of $960!
