Help us Grow Together: Dexter Community Garden
With recent cuts in USDA programming at the federal level, food pantries are struggling to provide produce for their communities. Heart of Maine Resource Center is partnering with the Dexter Community Garden to bring locally grown produce to seniors and families in our community.
This initiative, completely volunteer led, is seeking to double last year's output in order to meet the rising need in access to fresh produce. Help us grow this program and ensure that our community has the healthy food we need to thrive!
Funding will go towards:
- Garden Expansion
- Installation of a Greenhouse
- Seed Purchase
- Transportation/Distribution Costs
