Haven of Hope International

Whether you are a Student/Teacher at Bonita Springs High School or not, you must know Mrs. Bullock is a beloved teacher there. She is caring of each and every one of her students and colleagues and can light up a room with her positive energy, which is why it breaks my heart to say we’ve recently learned she along with her son and husband lost a loved one over the weekend. Her daughter Emma, a sophomore in college, was in a horrible car accident and lost her life. Her family is not asking for anything but prayers, however Emma was a great student and a compassionate person who loved charity. We would love to raise money for her favorite charities to honor Emma’s life and everything she stood for. All money raised would be donated to Haven of Hope International, a non-profit organization in Fort Myers for underprivileged children under Emma’s name. Our condolences go out to her family,  please keep them in your prayers. Thomas Pear, Kayla Schmidt and Chiqui  Zabala, plan to swim 12.5 miles around Key West June 24 to continue to raise funds for the Haven of Hope orphanage in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and a new Haven of Hope support orphange in Ocala, Florida.

Kayla is swimming around Key West solo while Thomas and Chiqui are relaying the swim. 

The three are raising money for much needed construction projects, including a $125,000 dormitory for the Heart of Florida Youth Ranch.
