Honoring Wendell's Legacy at Haven
Our beloved Wendell Enders passed away last night, June 13th, 2025. He was a loved member of his community, participating in dance clubs, managing the restaurant of the local casino for many years, and volunteering at the local Haven Humane Society. It was his wish for donations to go to Haven in lieu of flowers.

Jiggs' Fracture Repair
Please help us save Jiggs' leg!

Jiggs' recently arrived at our shelter after being hit by a car while walking with his owner along a busy highway. His owner was unable to care for Jiggs appropriately, and has signed him over to us.

Jiggs has been seen by a surgeon, and requires a fracture repair ASAP to prevent long term complications. If we can raise $2000 by the beginning of next week we should be able to save his leg. However, if we fail to make it all the way to $2000, we will use any money towards an amputation.
