Help Hatzalah Chicago

Hey Friends of Hatzalah Chicago,
We were upset to hear that a set of Advanced Life Support equipment was stolen in a car theft from a volunteer paramedic of Hatzalah Chicago last Monday. The thief probably didn't know it was in the car when he stole it from the 7-11 parking lot on Touhy and California. Reality is, it doesn't even have a street value as they are all registered devices. We know the police are doing what they can to help retrieve the equipment and we thank them, and all of our public safety partners, for their efforts.
But what can we do?! Let's dedicate a new set of Advanced Life Support equipment! Even if the insurance kicks in, it will only cover the money owed to the manufacturer and won't get them a new Cardiac Monitor. If the equipment is recovered, it will be dedicated by the donors of this GoFundMe page. If it is not found and has to be purchased, we will be able to replace the equipment in the community.
. These guys are our there for us, on an ALL VOLUNTEER basis, 24/7, let's give them the tools to save our lives and everyone wins!
Our goal is to raise money for 1 new set of Advanced Life Support Equipment: Cardiac Monitor, Intubation, IV, IO Drill and Needles, Oxygen Tank, Trauma Supplies, and Assessment Equipment.
Mission Statement: Hatzalah Chicago is a non-profit volunteer emergency medical service that provides emergency medical response 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at to all who need it, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity. For more information email: info@HatzalahChicago.
