GreenSpring Hurricane Flooding
When Hurricane Michael came through Richmond, the basement of our music school flooded. We sustained thousands of dollars of mold and water damage to instruments, teaching materials and necessary organizational supplies. Thankfully none of the American Youth Harp Ensemble harps were downstairs! But we lost guitars, keyboards, orchestral instruments, harp covers, benches and accessories and many more items essential to function as a music academy.
We are heartbroken knowing that these instruments and materials we have worked to attain over the last 25 years for our students will end up thrown away.
We appreciate the outpouring of support we have received from our friends and musical family and are grateful for any donation whether it be financial or in the form of instruments or musical supplies.
