Happy Tears Feline Foundation Corp

We finally built the feral cat rescue enclosure and ready to put kitties in there as soon as a lock is installed and just a few minor security measures. Our last GoFundMe raised about half of what we needed which we are thoroughly thankful for! We are starting a new GoFundMe, hoping to raise the rest of what we spent.

Luckily we had an amazing contractor who bought all the supplies at Home Depot and gave us every receipt and charged us a very fair labor price. He even found someone to do the gutters and the roof and shingles for a lot less money than we would’ve had to pay from anyone else

The first kitties that are going in this enclosure are going to be Luna of course and she’s going to have her own little space like the little queen that she is!

Then I have three kittens that are extremely spicy and feral in my home who are gonna share a space in the smaller area so that we can get our hands on them and work with them and get them out of our bathroom! It’s going to make all the difference in the world when we can get them out there instead of cooped up in a bathroom with no windows. Their names are Raven, Robin and Reaper. I have nicknamed them the “Rass Holes”. They are total jerks right now but I am going to work so hard to change that!

We need a space built for feral kitties we take in. A space that is “outdoorsy” so they don’t feel so freaked out going inside a home/rescue. A catio (cat patio) gives a cat a slow transition into going from outdoor life to indoor. Also, when we bring feral cats in, we often have to quarantine them in such a small place. A catio is going to make them feel so much better as we work to socialize and tame them. They tend to scare other kitties and are known to tear up blinds, light fixtures, walls, etc. Starting them out in an outside enclosure will be a dream come true and a major help to these frightened rescues.
