Happy Dance Dog Rescue

Please help us as we prepare for our 2nd visit to El Salvador. Happy Dance Dog Rescue is a non-profit group that rescues small dogs in the Dallas/Forth Worth area. In addition to our local rescue efforts, we buy food for dog shelters in El Salvador. Dogs in those shelters have no chance of being adopted because the population is too poor, but the shelters rescue them from living on the streets, feed them, spay/neuter them and give them a safe place to stay. They are housed in large rooms, with outdoor areas, together. The first time we went we bought 3,500 pounds of dog food and donated it to 4 shelters in San Salvador. The shelters are all run by volunteers with no funding whatsoever from the government. The food we provide ensures their dogs are fed and allows them to bring in more dogs from the streets. We are hoping to raise $1,500 to buy another 3,500 pounds of dog food to deliver to shelters when we visit in February. Any amount helps.
