Willow Blossom Learning Center is bringing back the Dance-A-Thon on Sunday, May 4 - this time the target is to raise money for new playground equipment! On the Preschool side: a mud kitchen, art tables, and an overhang/tent covering for shade (cost projection: $3,000). On the Infant/toddler side, a new slide, free-standing climber, and gross-motor equipment (cost projection: $2,500). The full cost projection totals $5500 - we'd like to try to tackle as much of this as possible for necessary repairs and upgrades! The Center has been around since the '70s, and has been in its current space since 1987. The Center believes that children will learn at their own pace and in their own way when given the opportunity and freedom to do so. Caring and resourceful adults - parents, families, and teachers - need to work together to nourish children's developing image of themselves as strong, compassionate people. The Center environment is designed to actively promote the cognitive, creative, emotional, and physical development of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

The school is trying to raise money for some big capital projects, and this event is our primary fundraiser: we're trying to raise money for new outdoor toys for the preschool and toddler rooms (2k), new lighting in the preschool (5k), and new outdoor climbing equipment to replace the existing ancient climber (25k).
