Haiti Street Dog Project

As word spay Day quickly approches we are getting ready to begin our mission of neutering 50 male dogs to help the overpopulation of strays in Haiti .

World spay day is February 26th, and we will spend the month dedicating our time to neutering pups in our community. This campaign is a first-time initiative to start neutering as many male dogs as we can to help prevent more litters being born on the streets. So many animals in Haiti are born on the streets and end up suffering from illness and injuries and it’s our goal to help stop this cycle.

With your help, we’re looking to raise $2500 to cover the veterinary costs, medical fees, and supplies for this large rescue mission.

This Giving Tuesday we are in need of a 3 Wheel Motor Wagon.

 

Most of our rescue missions are done on the motorcycle of our workers. Our workers are generous and willing to load dog crates on their motorcycles to transport our strays from the streets to our shelter in Haiti. We truly did not have any other means of transporting our dogs out of the streets. With much care and precaution we have managed to rescue over 30 thirty dogs on motorcycle this year.

 

However that must change now...

 

As we continue to carry out our mission in saving strays we are asking our community of supporters and dog lovers to support the Haiti Street Dog Project on this Giving Tuesday. Help us change the way we transport our dogs. Let do it right, Lets do it safe, Lets rescue on 3 Wheels!

 

Our ask is for a 3 Wheel Motor Wagon that will enable us to safely commute and transport our dogs . The Wagon will be costumed made for us in Haiti. Our workers are well equipped to drive the wagon around our town and rescue many more dogs safely.
