Empowering Lives Through Faith and Testimonies
STORY
I’m Dorsett L. Solomon Sr, founder and president of Had Enough Reach Out (H.E.R.O). We exist for one simple purpose: empower people through testimonies. When someone shares how they made it through—addiction, illness, loss, re-entry, financial struggle—it lights a path for the next person. That’s our model: faith in God + real stories + practical help = changed lives.
We’re raising $25,000 to scale H.E.R.O from a small grassroots effort into a movement with lasting reach. Your gift fuels:
• H.E.R.O. Platform (tech + content) – 40%
Build and maintain our community platform where testimonies can be recorded, safely shared, and matched to resources. Covers developers, security, hosting, and accessibility features.
• Direct Outreach & Events – 35%
Food/clothing drives, our H.E.R.O Christmas Giveaway, and year-round relief for families in need.
• Volunteer & Mentor Network – 15%
Recruit, screen, and train volunteers/mentors so every story is met with guidance and care.
• Safety, Compliance, and Essentials – 10%
Insurance, background checks, supplies, and responsible administration.
Why give? Because stories change people faster than statistics. We’ve seen hope return when someone hears, “I made it—and here’s how.” Your support multiplies those moments: more voices recorded, more families fed, more hands lifted.
Other ways to help: If you’re a developer, designer, storyteller, counselor, or community organizer, we need your skills. If you can donate food, clothing, gift cards, or services, we’ll put them straight into the community.
Every dollar expands the circle—one testimony at a time. Stand with H.E.R.O and help us turn surviving into thriving.
