Save Our Orphanage & Orphans From Displacement
On February 14th, 2013, Help Educate Assist Lives (H.E.A.L Inc.) was founded as a non-profit organization in Lawrenceville, GA, USA. The organization believes that “education is the single most permanent endowment any person can receive to improve their life. This fundamental conviction guides our core assistance objectives targeted toward underprivileged youth”.
Driven by this belief, H.E.A.L Inc. has to date …
- Renovated five orphanages (including restrooms, dormitories, and kitchens)
- Installed safe drinking water pumps
- Funded a library for over 500 students in Liberia
- Enrolled 35 students in schools in both Haiti and Liberia
- Community Health Outreach to over 2000 individuals in the communities around the campus
- … and much more.
In October 2022, H.E.A.L Inc. received news from our partner that the land and campus upon which our adopted orphanage is located in Liberia, West Africa, will be sold for $30,000. The news is devastating to the foundation, as the facility is home to over 23 orphans, many of whom have already had the most harrowing of life experiences.
The campus has also become a core part of the community. Not only do many of the community children attend school there, but the community also takes advantage of our quarterly healthcare outreach. To date, H.E.A.L Inc. has invested over $20,000 worth of renovations into the campus buildings and infrastructure, which we do not want to forego.

- To save our orphanage
- To help us raise the $30,000 funds needed to buy the land the orphanage currently sits on;
- To be the voice of the 23 children who are now at risk of losing their homes;
- To stop further displacements of innocent children who have endured more than the average adult would in their lifetime;
- To avoid the risk of separation to some of the siblings, as the sale of the grounds and property would mean children being sent to any location/facility in the country that could accommodate them individually;
- To stand with these children and us, to realize the vision, we can … "combat poverty and illiteracy through youth empowerment that enhances their quality of life and helps identify pathways to success.”
