Gulf Coast Kids House, Inc.

We are a nonprofit that provides services to child abused victims in Escambia County.

Our mission is to end child abuse and heal families through collaborative intervention, family support, and prevention education.

Our goal is to provide a trauma-free intervention process through a multidisciplinary, collaborative response.

The East Hill Sleigh Ride began as a way to spread some joy while also doing some good for the community. When we began in 2020, we decided that the purpose of this event would be to give back to a neighborhood charity during the holiday season.

The Gulf Coast Kid's House is a charity in the neighborhood that advocates for abused children. During the holidays, every child should feel safe, loved, and valued. Unfortunately, too many do not. We cannot think of a more worthy cause that protecting innocent children from abuse.

With this in mind, we ask that those who enjoy the Sleigh Ride each year and who have the means, consider donating to this important and worthy cause. Any amount helps!

Help spread holiday joy for a good cause throughout the streets of East Hill with the 4th Annual All Vehicle East Hill Sleigh Ride on December 16th at 5:30 pm at Bayview Park.

Decorate your golf cart, car, trailered boat, wagon, trailers, dog leashes, and bikes with holiday lights for a fun nighttime holiday processional through the neighborhood. Lineup starts at 4:15 pm on 20th Avenue by Bayview Park. The Sleigh Ride will start at 5:30 p.m.

This is the fourth year we have hosted this fun event for the neighborhood to raise money for Gulf Coast Kids House, a charity in our neighborhood that does a lot for abused children. We can't think of a better way to give back and spread joy during the holidays than to help children who need it.

As a children's advocacy center, we combine all of the professionals and resources needed for the intervention, investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases under one child-friendly facility. Child victims and their families also receive mental health counseling at our center.
