At GH we are dedicated to the recovery of horses in transition, from abuse, neglect, and the slaughter pipeline. Our goal is to empower them, and allow them to become healed, whole, and secure in homes that will see them as we do. It is our mission to see that they are defended and do not suffer by virtue of happenstance over which they are helpless victims. In order to make the transition from unwanted to beloved family members, we utilize numerous tools, from letdown, to veterinarian care, farrier care, nutrition programs, professional retraining, on-site training and exercise, and more. We have a special interest in Thoroughbreds, Arabians & BLM Mustangs. Thru Advocacy, Education, and our Hearts Programs, our goal is to rescue, recover, & improve the lives of as many horses as we can.
