We improve the lives of breeding dogs in puppy mills
In 2026, Greater Honeycomb's mission expands to include some of the most voiceless among us: dogs trapped in puppy mills. These breeding dogs often live in debilitating conditions and are mercilessly discarded once they are no longer profitable. Honey Paws supports small- and mid-sized animal rescues while raising awareness around puppy mill practices and advocating for improved protections.
The inspiration came from grassroots rescue leaders like Grace Kelly of Finding Shelter, who for 15 years has rescued and rehabilitated dogs from puppy mills. Organizations like hers operate under immense financial strain, relying on donations and volunteers to fund medical care, foster networks, awareness efforts, and safe housing.
We build and manage branded online storefronts that generate ongoing revenue, handling product design, technology, fulfillment, and marketing. Each storefront becomes an awareness engine, turning supporters into advocates who share the mission simply by wearing or gifting the products.
In addition, we build custom swag stores for corporations where a portion of every purchase supports Honey Paws, or a specific partner organization. Companies can offer branded merchandise with profits funding animal rescue.
Finally, we lobby the USDA and state legislatures so that they pass rules and laws to improve conditions of these breeding dogs.
