About GrowGood
GrowGood's mission is to transform under-resourced communities and change lives by creating urban farms and garden spaces to grow food, jobs, and wellness programs. Since 2011, GrowGood has been working at the intersection of homeless services, food justice, environmental sustainability, holistic wellness, and job readiness by growing Food, Hope & Community at a 1.5-acre regenerative urban farm adjacent to The Salvation Army’s Bell Shelter. Through our programs, we provide transitional employment, specialized job training in culinary arts, an ecotherapy wellness program, and grow organic produce for the Bell Shelter's kitchen and community.
