Kae Noi Expansion Project 2022
Despite minimal news coverage, the violence and aggression has escalated further in the Myanmar drug wars. Families across Myanmar (formerly Burma) are experiencing radical hostility and militant coercion, tearing families and homes apart. Local militia continues to force parents to run drugs or be killed while children are kidnapped and forced into armed conflict as child soldiers in their local communities.
GROW Thailand needs your help! Our team needs to return to northern Thailand as soon as possible. A rapid fundraising campaign has been launched for a critical mission! The Kae Noi orphanage is rapidly growing with new children who have fled Myanmar by foot and escaped into northern Thailand seeking safety, shelter, and care. The orphanage has run out of sleeping space, and new sponsorships are needed to support the expansion of children needing care! Sponsorship provides shelter, clean water, nutrition, educational resources, and medical care. GROW Thailand’s return to Kae Noi is critical to expanding sleeping space, expanding the child sponsorship program, and updating our existing sponsors.
We cannot get there without your help! To financially support our mission, donations can be provided via GoFundMe or make a tax-deductible donation on our website at www.growthai.org (click Donate and choose ‘Kae Noi Expansion Project 2022’). All funds will be applied to travel and expansion expenses.
