Jean Lafitte and Barataria, Louisiana, experienced devastating wind and water damage during Hurricane Ida. There is a long road ahead for the community to clean up and rebuild.
Griffin Fishing Charters & Lodge is blessed to have so many customers and friends reach out to check on us and ask how to help. Our top priority is our Griffin Family: the community, fishing guides, their families, and friends that support and welcome our lodge and our customers. The full extent of damage is still unknown, but many people have lost everything. Anyone who has had the opportunity to experience Lafitte and Barataria know the people that live here are what make this bayou community so special. Funds raised will be used to support the local community relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Ida. Groovy Caring & Giving Fund is a tax-deductible charity that will distribute donations directly to locals in the community.
