Green Cities Fund Inc

Green Cities Fund, a small non-profit in Berkeley, California, is providing an avenue of assistance to UC Berkeley's Institute for the Study of Societal Issues whose valuable mentoring work with students of color is threatened .  San Francisco Chronicle reporter Nanette Asimov describes the plight of the Institute in her December 26th article (https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/UC-Berkeley-shutting-down-rare-pipeline-for-15828740.php).  Whether or not the goal is reached, all funds received will be directed toward renovation of the historic Anna Head Building, the Institute's home, or, at the discretion of the Institute, toward fellowship grants by the Institute.
