Did you know that 1 in 7 Southwestern Pennsylvanians face hunger? 1 in 5 children.

This is unacceptable.

As we all know, it's been a long couple of years—more so for those who don't have enough. Inflation is real and has left so many without the basics. In a country where individual billionaires exist (with enough resources to take whimsical trips to outer space and buy their own islands), hunger shouldn’t exist.

The last art raffle we did for The Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank brought in over $2700! How cool is that? I'm hoping we can raise this much (and maybe more?) to help feed the folks in our community. ❤️

HOW TO ENTER
$5 per entry. Donating more means more entries. Be sure to include a name and valid contact information with your donation. Raffle limited to U.S. residents only.

WHEN
The raffle begins at 12:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, May 15, 2022, and ends at 11;59 p.m. EST on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

WHO
All money (besides the minor transactions fees from GoFundMe) goes directly to The Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank.

WINNER
The winner will be chosen using a random number generator, and then, notified via email. I will post an announcement on Instagram too. The winner will have 48 hours to get in touch before I have to try again.

SHIPPING
Once I receive the mailing address (U.S. only), I will ship the glass panel using UPS or USPS. No charge to the winner.

Hello, my name is Sebastian Wary, and I am going into my senior year at Seneca Valley. Seneca Valley requires every senior does a graduation project. Due to many people being affected by the COVID 19 pandemic, I decided to raise money for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.  Since the food bank is unable to receive donations, they heavily rely on these donations. Living a few blocks from the GAP trail in the Southside, I've ridden to McKeesport and beyond more than a few times. As you ride through Duquesne, you pass a business park. I didn't really know that the Food Bank was there, right off the trail, until I saw those unforgettable images after the Covid-19 shutdown of people lined up in cars for miles waiting for food. Thats the impetus behind combining my ride on the trail with a fundraiser.

I'm leaving Friday September 25th in the morning for the 333 combined miles of the Greater Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal Towpath from the Point in Pittsburgh, to Mile 0 in Washington, DC. My goal is to ride straight through, with short periodic stops for food/water, in under 24 hours. This isn't going to be easy, but hopefully I can help raise some money in addition to achieving a goal that has long been simmering in the back of my mind.

Any contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

The Top Secret Colonials host a 24-hour Gaming Marathon every semester to benefit charities such as The Children's Miracle Network and The Batch Foundation. 100% of the funds raised go directly to these foundations.

Usually, the way the event works is that chairs, tables, and power are provided, everything else is up to you. With the recent circumstances with the COVID-19 (Corona Virus), we have decided that this tradition needed to continue and that this is the time that outside charities need the money more than ever. We have decided to move our semiannual to a virtual platform.  Students are invited to our Discord and to play video games of their choice, compete in tournaments, and meet others with similar interests.

The Top Secret Colonials have decided to give this semesters funds to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to help give back to our local community. During this time, the need for food donations is great. Those affected by the coronavirus will benefit from your donations. We are all in this together!

Many people are struggling to find their next meal due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19.  Over the past few months the Pittsburgh community food bank has been giving and making healthy foods for anyone in need.  The food bank has been drastically impacted by the pandemic. While the number of neighbors in need is increasing rapidly, the amount of supplies has drastically decreased.  Every donation provides support to the family members in need and has a lasting impact on ending food insecurity in our community.
