Wheels of Hope: Logan Becker
Meet Logan Becker, a student at Lancaster High School and a heavily involved Greater Buffalo Adaptive Sports Athlete. We need to raise money for an adaptive bike so Logan can participate in Ride for Roswell. He wants to show people that you can do anything you put your mind to. He was born with one leg and life has provided many challenges for him, but sports have given him opportunities in life and given him the chance to make an impact on others. His favorite sports is Lacrosse and he is a major Buffalo Sabres and Bills fan.

Buffalo Wheelchair Basketball
On Oct 3 The Buffalo Wheelchair Basketball Youth League has its first practice - with 5 kids! 6 weeks later and we have grown to 18 athletes participating weekly. Greater Buffalo Adaptive Sports (formerly the Sled Hockey Foundation) is the non-profit who has loaned us 12 Sports Wheelchairs so we could get started. They are also gracious enough to facilitate the purchase of our own chairs.

Our goal is to raise 20,000 to buy 10 chairs! Every donation gets us closer and will go to help this new program that integrates people with physical disabilities and people without disabilities together on the court to learn and play competitive wheelchair basketball.
