Good Karma Dog Rescue
In September of 2015, Good Karma Dog Rescue (GKDR) was founded to make a difference in the lives of dogs in need. 2 years and over 150 successfully rescued, dogs later, GKDR is thriving!
As successful as we are, we are not able to do it alone. As a rescue, GKDR, prides itself on not shying away from dogs who may need severe medical attention, behavioral intervention, or worse! Through the donations from our rescue family, friends and supporters, we have been able to do more than we ever dreamed possible!
Recently, we have taken in several dogs in need of extensive medical attention: a 13 pound stray dog who, at 15 years old, was abandoned by his family and left to die on the street; an abused dog who was so brutally attacked that his fear of other dogs made him appear to be dog-agressive when, in turn, he was just terrified; two purebred chihuahua puppies who were never let inside, touched, or shown love; and even the sweetest, most incredible soul who was beaten so badly that she was thought to be dead upon arrival at the doctor's office.
These are just a handful of the many dogs that GKDR has been fourtunate enough to help. As you can imagine, our vet bills are astronomical. As happy as we are with our successes, we know that we can do more. In order to make this possible, we need your help.
