The mission of Golden Gate Science League is to promote science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to K-12 students and to enable more minorities and underprivileged students from Title I schools to get hands-on experience with STEM activities through our Science Olympiad events. We achieve our mission mainly by hosting our annual Golden Gate Science Olympiad Tournament organized by Stanford and UC Berkeley students, which brings together 1,000 high school students across the nation.
