URGENT NEED! Transportation for Our Kids in The Mountains
Hi, I'm Karen De la Cruz, CEO of Global Outreach For Kids Foundation.
We’re facing a critical moment- The only vehicle and means of transportation that we currently have at our children’s home in the Dominican Republic “Villas Infantile Valle del Eden”(VIVE), just broke down, and without it, our children risk being stranded without access to vital services like medical care, supplies and any urgent need.
Tucked away in the beautiful but remote mountains of the Dominican Republic, VIVE is a sanctuary for our kids. But getting supplies, transporting children to medical appointments, and simply navigating daily life without a reliable vehicle has become a growing challenge, especially during this rainy season when the terrain gets very muddy and difficult to maneuver. Everyday, our staff and children face a rugged, uphill journey—literally. Currently our neighbors have been supporting us by providing transportation, but this is not a situation that we can withstand for long.
We urgently need your help to raise $35,000 to purchase a durable, all-terrain pickup truck that can withstand the road conditions and safely transport food, water, construction materials, and most importantly—our children—to the places they need to go, especially medical care
This truck isn’t just about convenience—it’s about safety, health, and opportunity.
Would you consider making a one-time gift today to help us purchase this essential vehicle?
