Our hearts are heavy with grief as we mourn the devastating loss of life and livelihoods in Waynad, Kerala, South India, due to the recent landslide. The tragedy has claimed over 400 precious lives, with more than 100 still missing, and two small villages swept away by the river.
In this darkest hour, we, the Global Indian Council Inc. (GIC), a 501(c)(3) organization, reaches out to you with open arms, seeking your compassion and support. Our chapters worldwide, including our strong presence in Kerala, have always stood together in solidarity, and now we unite to bring hope and healing to those affected.
