Since 1971 Glenwood Life Counseling Center has helped thousands of Baltimore residents suffering from the disease of addiction, begin recovery and regain their health and wellbeing. Our nonprofit, treatment and recovery program is urgently in need of additional funds in 2024 to help us continue our mission
About Glenwood:
For 53 years, Glenwood Life Counseling Center has helped so many clients find recovery and fellowship as well as jobs, housing, employment, or health care . Recovery is different for each person and Glenwood strives to assist each individual in his or her personal journey.
Because Glenwood Life is a nonprofit, and not just a "business" , we admit anyone who needs and wants help. In the current climate of "fee for service", and insurance company reimbursement, it is often philosophically and financially difficult to maintain the spirit and practices of a charity without the additional help of others.
Counselors, nurses, and other dedicated staff continue to diligently do their jobs, helping more than 360 clients each week. However, we are short-staffed and need additional resources to return to our pre-covid level of services.
Please help us to stay afloat through 2024 and continue to help the people who need it most: these incredible, strong, optimistic people who struggle every day to master their addiction and succeed at regaining control of their lives.
