About Giving Design

Our mission is to connect the skills and resources of our design community with those who might not otherwise have access to design’s positive impact. We recognize that design requires experience, skill and knowledge that ordinarily comes at a high price. We acknowledge that, for many, the price of design makes it a luxury. We believe strongly that design improves quality of life, and that the value of design is too important to be a luxury. We know that the design community, of which the members of Giving Design are a part, is populated with generous and involved practitioners who are committed to expanding access to good design for everyone, particularly those to whom it may seem beyond reach.
