Support Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue's Vital Work
This GoFundMe is for our foster kitty, Doris. Doris is bossy, loving, and absolutely oozing with personality.
Unfortunately, Doris’s immune system has decided she is too cool for teeth, and her body is avidly rejecting them, causing painful inflammation in her mouth that has receded her gums and caused tooth decay (stomatitis). As a result, she has terrible pain and has lived her whole her life silently fighting in agony. Doris was generously rescued by GiveMeShelter after being placed on a euthanasia list, and was brought back to life by the nurturing hand of the shelter.
After receiving surgery, Doris has improved significantly, but is still experiencing severe pain resulting from her remaining teeth. She only needs the last four teeth removed in order to embark on a life free from pain.
Please help us make this dream a reality for Doris. Two years of suffering is far too long for such a pure and original soul. If you may, please leave a donation for Miss Doris. PS. For Doris’s privacy, we have only posted photos of her after being managed on medication. Without this, Doris drools icky scary colored saliva and has severe inflammation around her remaining teeth. She feels it unlady like to post such things.
