Gilead House Inc.

The Gilead House is a remarkable place in the community for young women battling substance abuse.  Ms. Reba Harris has dedicated herself to helping them renew their lives by providing them with faith-based tools to combat the addiction disease.  The Gilead House is a safe haven for these women who are starting down a clean and law-abiding path that will make them productive members of the community.  The alternative is jail where rehabilitation opportunities are limited and there is no one like Ms. Reba to keep up much needed motivation and encouragement.  Even though the Gilead House only provides housing for justice-involved women, it also offers incredible programs to men as well.      

The reason for this Gofundme is to raise money for a new sprinkler system.  The Gilead House is located in the old YWCA building in Kokomo, Indiana, and to continue housing these ladies safely, a new sprinkler system is required throughout the building at a cost of $130,000.  This is an expense that the Gilead House cannot cover without outside help. 

Those who have been involved with the Gilead House know that it is truly an asset to the community.  The drug epidemic is real and Ms. Reba and her staff dedicate so much to combating it by standing behind the struggling men and women of this community as they fight their addiction.  Please assist in giving whatever you can to assist in funding the sprinkler system to ensure that the Gilead House continues to be a strong, reliable, and uplifting resource for the community in the years ahead.
