The GFCSD (Glens Falls City School District) Backpack Program provides kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare food for students in need to bring home on the weekends. With over 50% of families in our district considered economically disadvantaged, many of our students rely on the food provided at school as their main food source. . We also provide larger bags of food during school breaks and throughout the summer.    We currently have 186 students in our program in grades prek-12th.  We receive no district funding.
