We are excited to launch our fifth annual Teacher Appreciation Fund! Georgetown Hill is once again accepting donations from our families and supporters to distribute to our teachers this holiday season.

100% of donations will go directly to Georgetown Hill teaching staff. Our central office and administration will not be eligible for these gifts. The fund closes December 11th, and we plan to distribute your gifts before the holiday break.

Since the establishment of this annual fund, GHES families have contributed over $150,000. This year, we're hoping our families will again be in a position to support our dedicated teaching staff. I pledge to personally match the first five $500 donations.

Please also keep an eye out for campus activities in the coming days designed to raise awareness as well.

Georgetown Hill is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation may be tax deductible (check with your tax advisor!). If you are able to contribute to the Teacher Appreciation Fund, we’ll acknowledge your gift with the appropriate documentation, and provide you with any further information you might require in the event your employer offers matching of your charitable gifts.

Linda Tecler is wrapping up the full-time part of her Georgetown Hill career after more than 40 years of service to the Potomac and Rockville communities. She served as a teacher of 3s, Pre-K, and Kindergarten, and has served as a director. And all the while she's been an irreplaceable part of the culture and core values of Georgetown Hill. As a token of recognition of her service, GHES is establishing the Linda Tecler Scholarship Fund! We are launching this effort to provide $5000 in tuition assistance to a Bells Mill family in need.

100% of donations will go directly to Georgetown Hill teaching staff. Our central office and administration will not be eligible for these gifts. The fund closes December 8th, and we plan to distribute your gifts before the holiday break.

We are also excited to announce the introduction of raffle prizes as a thank you to those who contribute to the fund. Each $10 you donate will earn you one entry into our fundraising raffle for one of four amazing prizes, including:

Raffle winners will be drawn December 15th. In order to be eligible for the raffle, you must check the box to share your name and email with “the charity” (i.e. Georgetown Hill) during checkout.

By popular demand, we are proud to announce the launch of our third annual Teacher Appreciation Fund! Georgetown Hill is once again collecting family donations to distribute to our teaching staff.

100% of your donation will go directly to Georgetown Hill teaching staff. Our central office and administration will not be eligible for these exclusive funds. Georgetown Hill plans to distribute its holiday bonuses before the holiday and donations from our families shortly after in January!

As a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, your donation may be tax deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you are able to contribute to the Staff Appreciation Fund, we’ll acknowledge your gift with the appropriate documentation, and provide you with any further information you might require in the event your employer considers matching your charitable gifts. Your donation will go directly to Georgetown Hill staff. Georgetown Hill central office will not be eligible for these exclusive funds. We  plan to distribute the funds to staff before the December holidays!
