Detroit Church Break-ins
Genesis Lutheran Church/Genesis HOPE, located at 7200 Mack Ave., serves the Detroit community through neighborhood outreach and youth development. Our church is often used for neighborhood gatherings, community meetings and development planning.
Recently the church has been the target of multiple break-ins. We need your help to replace stolen items and to recover funds used to repair interior and exterior doors.
Items to be replaced/repaired are as follows:
1 HP Laptop $500
2 Alcatel Tablets $150 ea. $300
1 Panasonic 2-line Phone w/cordless Phone $200
1 SKIL Cordless Power Drill $100
1 Shredder $40
2 TV's $600
Mics- 1 lapel, 3 handhelds, 1 podium $800
Exterior doors $1200
Interior doors $250
We currently have matching funds for the 1st $1000 pledge.
